Food Journal - Keep and food journal and write down everything you put in your mouth including beverages. There are so many calories in drinks, so choose water as much as possible. Your goal is to cut 500 calories a day because in 7 days, you will consume 3,500 less calories, which means you will loose one pound of fat. One pound of fat in a healthy way. Not a fad diet way. Usually in the fad diets they will tell you not to workout and eat 500 calories a day, that is unhealthy. You will lose the lean muscle, which is what you want to keep, the bulky fat is what you want to lose.

Lift Your Way to a Flat Stomach - Do not be afraid of weights. Remember that rep effect I just told you about because it is very important when it comes to burning fat. Utilizing compound movements, like I do in my Body Blast or ROCKSTAR BARRE classes, is the best way to burn the maximum amount of calories. Also at night, during your rem sleep cycles, your body will release a larger amount of fat burning repair hormones. All important factors so far!

Do Not Forget Your Cardio - It goes hand in hand with strength training to sleek you out and burn those fat layers off the top of your abs. All of my classes at Lauren Fox on Demand have built in cardio, like high intensity interval training (HIIT), so it's a well rounded program for you to get in the best shape of your life.
